N. Thomson Bard, Jr.
Executive Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, Principal
Mr. Bard brings more than 36 years in real estate development and asset management experience in six major U.S. commercial markets. At SKB, he is responsible for the entire portfolio, which has totaled some 18.4 million square feet and typically averages over 7 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space. Prior to co-founding SKB, Mr. Bard served as Regional Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield’s Southeast, Atlanta and Mid-Atlantic region where he was responsible for 18 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space. The most notable of these projects included the Chrysler Technology Center, Chrysler’s 3 million square foot state of the art new product development center in Auburn Hills, MI and the Georgia Pacific Headquarters (1.2 million SF) in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Bard also served as the development consultant and limited partner in the 30-story Pacwest Center office tower in downtown Portland, SKB’s headquarters since its founding. The equity investors in Pacwest Center were Mitsubishi Estate and Morgan Stanley. Before that, Mr. Bard was Senior Vice President of Stein & Company in Chicago – developers of the United Center, AT&T Corporate Center and Comiskey Park. While managing the Stein portfolio of over 6.5 million square feet, he opened and operated under budget a 500,000 square foot building for the General Services Administration of the Federal Government for whom Stein & Co had constructed and guaranteed operating costs for two years. Mr. Bard earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in Electrical Engineering and his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University. Mr. Bard also served as a Nautilus class submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.

Sandra J. Rankin, CFA, CPA
Chief Financial Officer and Operations Manager
Ms. Rankin, a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant, joined SKB in 2003. As CFO, she oversees all financial reporting, forecasting, budgets, cash management, accounting systems and fiscal planning. Prior to joining SKB, she served as Vice President and Investment Officer at Highmark Capital Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Bank of California. As a key member of Highmark’s senior investment management team, she analyzed new and existing financial products and prospective client portfolios and created asset allocation models. Before Highmark, Ms. Rankin held Controller, Treasurer and Accountant positions with Myers Capital Corp., Relwest Inc., Keegan, Linscott & Kenon, P.C., and Cienega, Ltd., all located in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Albert D. Beedie, III
Vice President—Finance and Systems
Mr. Beedie joined SKB in June 2007 after working for the prior two years as a consultant from Intuit Real Estate Solutions, the vendor for SKB’s financial and investor reporting system. Mr. Beedie is responsible for the continued development of SKB’s back office systems, in addition to various finance functions and chairing the Company’s IT Committee. From 1998 until 2001 he worked for Microsoft as a Production Development Leader, and from 2002 until joining SKB, he worked as a Commercial Practice Team Leader for Intuit in the Real Estate Solutions and Fund Accounting product lines. Prior to working in the technology sector, Mr. Beedie worked as Controller and Director of Finance for USA TODAY, Technology Solutions Company and Wellsprings, Inc. from 1986 until 1997, where he was responsible for the financial management of operations encompassing $350 million. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Denver and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming and Network Administration.

Linda Harrington
Compliance Officer
Ms. Harrington joined SKB in April 2006. As Compliance Officer, she manages SKB Securities’ day-to-day compliance with SEC and NASD regulatory requirements. Ms. Harrington is also responsible for developing, implementing and improving compliance policies and procedures. Ms. Harrington has eight years of broker/dealer compliance experience. Most recently, she was a compliance officer and anti-money laundering compliance officer with M Holdings Securities, Inc., another Portland-based broker/dealer. Her responsibilities involved all facets of regulatory compliance. Prior to that, she worked in a similar capacity for Safeco Investment Services in the Seattle area. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon.
