Mr. Scanlan has more than 34 years of regional and national commercial real estate experience. Prior to founding SKB, he worked for CB Commercial Inc. (CB Richard Ellis) for 18 years, where he held various senior management positions in Portland, Seattle, Denver, New York and Los Angeles, concluding as President of Capital Markets and a Director with responsibility for investment banking, mortgage banking, appraisal and consultation. Mr. Scanlan was one of the four senior officers that acquired CB Commercial, Inc. (CB Richard Ellis) from Sears Roebuck in an LBO together with The Carlyle Group in 1989. He led the team that placed the then-largest-ever single asset mortgage – $875 million on Sears Tower in 1988; acted as real estate advisor to The Anschutz Company in their 1986 acquisition of Southern Pacific Railroad; and managed with CB the subsequent liquidation of over $2 billion of Southern Pacific real estate. In 1974, Mr. Scanlan was the first-ever CB Commercial, Inc. broker to receive their National Rookie of the Year Award. Before joining CB Commercial, Inc., Mr. Scanlan served as Vice President & National Operations Manager for W.W. Grainger, Inc. (Grainger’s) in Chicago. He also headed PacifiCorp Financial Services Real Estate Investment Banking Group from 1991-1993 and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Opus Northwest, LLC – contractors and developers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also sits on the board of trustees as past President and Lifetime Trustee of Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation, and President of Portland French School Board of Trustees. Mr. Scanlan has served as trustee of Reed College, Portland Art Museum, Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, Portland State University, Los Angeles Theatre Center and Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Scanlan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College, majoring in history.


Margaret M. Hill

As Vice President for Investor Relations, Ms. Hill oversees production of quarterly reports and acts as a liaison between investors and all SKB departments including SKB Securities. Ms. Hill joined SKB in 2000, after eight years with mortgage banker Trowbridge, Kieselhorst & Co., Inc. of San Francisco where she served as Senior Loan Administrator and Assistant Vice President. She also updated a $2.4 billion loan portfolio servicing technology while responsible for the Company’s IT efforts. Ms. Hill received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from California State University-Sacramento.


Robert R. Walker, Jr.

As Managing Director, Mr. Walker focuses on sourcing investors from the Bay Area office. He has more than 36 years of real estate industry experience in acquisition, asset management and brokerage. Prior to joining SKB in 2000, Mr. Walker was President of Sierra Capital Companies and Rubloff of California, and a Senior Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield and Grubb & Ellis. He also has formed seven REITS, raising over $300 million and has acquired more than $600 million in U.S. properties. Mr. Walker is a former National President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate from Southern Methodist University.


Robert W. Gibson

Mr. Gibson joined SKB as Managing Director–Investor Relations in 2001. He has over 31 years of experience in investments, corporate finance, banking and venture capital. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Gibson owned and operated Gibson & Co., a corporate finance advisory firm in Portland. From 1989 to 1991 he was Managing Director of Pacific Harbor Capital, the merchant banking subsidiary of PacifiCorp. Previously, Mr. Gibson spent fourteen years with Bank of America, where he was President of BankAmerica Capital Corporation, the bank’s venture capital subsidiary, and a Vice President in the Corporate Banking Group. From 1980 to 1982 he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Heizer Corporation, a public venture capital firm in Chicago. Mr. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northwestern University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.


Robert F. Savage

Mr. Savage joined SKB as Managing Director in 2006. He has over 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Savage began his career with CB Commercial (CBRE) in Portland, Oregon as a commercial/industrial specialist in sales and leasing. He then became Vice President of American Industries Inc., a privately owned diversified holding company located in Portland. Mr. Savage handled the company’s commercial real estate acquisitions, leasing and development throughout Oregon, Washington, and California. Prior to joining SKB, he ran an advisory firm working for high net worth individuals analyzing their commercial real estate holdings portfolios. Mr. Savage has been involved in commercial sales and leasing activity totaling over $140 million and has leased, acquired and sold nearly 3.4 million square feet. Mr. Savage received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon.


Adam M. Haber

As Managing Director, Mr. Haber focuses on sourcing investors from the New York metro area. A long-standing and significant investor with SKB, he has over 18 years experience working on Wall Street trading Crude Oil, Heating Oil, Gasoline, Coffee and Sugar on the NYMEX and NYBOT exchanges. From 1991-1998 Mr. Haber ran the NY office of Pioneer Trading Group as Managing Partner. In 1999 he started his own trading group and has financed the trading careers of numerous other Wall Street professionals. Mr. Haber is currently an equity member of The NYMEX, NYBOT and The American Stock Exchange. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from S.U.N.Y. Albany where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Haber currently resides in New York.


Kory A. Arntson

As Managing Director, Mr. Arntson brings some 17 years of real estate capital markets experience to SKB. From 1997-2002, Mr. Arntson was a mortgage banking officer for L.J. Melody, a division of CB Richard Ellis. He represented institutions in the placement of permanent debt, bridge financing and equity – executing over $400 million in transactions. Since 2002 until joining SKB in 2006, Mr. Arntson was the Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Wyse Investment Services Company, a real estate investment advisory firm in Portland. He serves as past President on the board of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) as well as several non-profit organizations. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.


Gordon “Skip” Huber

Mr. Huber joined SKB in 2008 as Managing Director in Northern California. He brings more than 36 years of experience as a businessman, first as President of Union Paper Company and then as President and founder of Huber Business Systems. Mr. Huber has served on several Boards of Directors, including Allen and Dorward, Master Travel, Save Way Office Products, Merrit Hospital and Merrit Peralta Medical Center, among others. He was also on the board of San Francisco Federal Savings – a $4.5 billion public financial institution which generated a loan volume of over $100 million a month and which was involved in residential, commercial and construction loans. While on the board at SF Federal Savings, Mr. Huber served on the loan, compensation and nominating committees, and chaired the personnel, finance, and audit committees. He was Chairman of the Board when SF Federal Savings was taken over and eventually became part of Citicorp. Mr. Huber is very active in the community, serving as President or Chairman of business, charity, medical and arts organizations. Mr. Huber graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California-Berkeley and served as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant.
