Twist Bioscience Corp., a publicly traded firm specializing in synthetic DNA, plans to spend millions to lease a Wilsonville factory where operations are scheduled to start in 2022.
The South San Francisco, California-based company (Nasdaq: TWST) called the approximately 111,000-square-foot site a "factory of the future," saying it may eventually generate as many as 400 jobs in the region. It plans to use the space at 26600 S.W. Parkway Ave. as a second manufacturing facility, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings.
